Welcome to WD FC, the heart and soul of Watford's Sunday League football. Founded in 2019 by a group of passionate friends, we've grown into a thriving club with over 50 dedicated members. Our journey has been marked by remarkable achievements and a commitment to the beautiful game, and we are proud to represent Watford in the Watford Sunday League.

Our Story:

• 2019: WD FC was born, fueled by friendship and a shared love for football.
• 2019/20 Season: We clinched the Division 3 title in our debut season, setting the tone for our future successes.
• 2020/21 Season: Continued our winning streak by securing the Division 2 championship.
• 2021/22 Season: Finished third in Division 1 and reached the WSL Challenge Cup final, showcasing our competitive spirit.
• 2022/23 Season: Promoted to the Premier Division and made an impressive debut, finishing third.
• 2023/24 Season: Achieved county cup finalist status, narrowly missing out on the title after a penalty shootout, and secured another third-place finish in the Premier Division.

Now, as we look forward to the 24/25 season, we are excited to introduce our Reserves side, competing in Division 2 of the Watford Sunday League. This expansion reflects our growth and dedication to fostering talent within the community.
