London Fire Brigade Football Club

About the club

We are the official representation side of the London Fire Brigade & LFB Welfare made up of Firefighter from all over London

We have four senior teams: Open Age, Veterans, Eastern Command and a Women’s team

Our Open age & Vets teams compete in the Fire Sports UK Football Section, traveling throughout the UK playing against other fire and rescue services in our two national cup competitions ( www.firesportuk.com ).

We have enjoyed recent success in both of these competitions, with our vets side current double winners of the UK & English cup and our open age side current English winners!

We also have entered our Eastern command team into the only league for all emergency service to compete against each other, The Emergency Service Football League ( www.esfl.co.uk ) where we will play against representative teams from the Police, Prison Service, and NHS/Ambulance Service.

Our newly formed Women’s team will be competing in Friendly's with the aim of entering a competitive league

We are now partnered with the Kick it Out campaign to tackle racism in the game and become a Kick It Out Equality Chartered Club

We are also supporting the Football v Homophobia campaign and are becoming FvH ambassadors to help tackle defamation and prejudice towards the LGBT communities in football.

We are affiliated to the London FA and have also been recognised as an FA Chartered Standard Adult Club

Our main goal is to help our local communities - getting young people off the streets while giving them valuable life skills using the resources we have as a respected public service organisation, and to promote fire safety awareness.
