ABOUT THE CLUB


Hartland Athletic is a Football club based between Fleet & Farnborough. The club provides safe and organised football for all ages from Mini Messi’s though to Adult Legends.

Our Home ground is based just a stones throw away from Hartland Village at the Cody Sports & Social Club. With pitches covering all formats from 5 aside all the way to Full size, HAFC and the Club ethos is to deliver Football across all ages with a platform in place to give children a route all the way to Senior Football.

THE BEGINNING


Having worked together for various successfully teams and projects, Founder Club members Dave Mathews (Chairman) and Sam Hawkins (CWO) invited Paul MacRae (Sec) to work alongside them for a representative team playing in an elite tournament run annually in Germany.


In preparation for the 2019 tournament a u12s team were put together playing for a different club entering the North East Hants Youth league.

As the rumours circulated of this new project many former students of Dave, Sam & Paul now at adult age got in contact to see if an adult team could be formed too.


2018/19 Season

Adults entered and won the Aldershot & District div 1 Cup.

U12s NEHYL Division 1 Champions.


Due to the success in 2019 Hartland Athletic was formed. With 2 new age groups confirmed for next season the future is looking bright. The story continues............







THE NAME HARTLAND


Due to the success of both teams in 2019 the continuing use of Cody Sports & Social Club the name coincided with a new Housing development being built on the old Pyestock site situated just a stones through away from the Home pitches.


Hartland Village development and Berkeley Homes will continue to grow over several years with Hartland Athletic providing Football for local residents and the surrounding area building a Village Club for the future.
