Following discussions between the East Riding County Football Association (ERCFA) and representatives of the local league competitions, the the East Riding County League (ERCL) and the Hull & District Veterans League have issued a joint-statement with regards to the outcome of the 2019/20 season. This can be read on the ERCFA website.

Copies of the statement have also been forwarded to every member club by the ERCL (one is attached here). The Hull & District Veterans League have similarly issued it via their website.

Because the Humber Premier League (HPL) is part of the FA pyramid, the decision to conclude their league season was made by the FA and not at local level. Correspondence from HPL Secretary Benny Bielstein is also attached.

As a club we fully respect and understand the decision made, whilst also appreciating how disappointing it is.

As we've already had some of you asking, in due course we will discuss at Committee level what to do about players' appearances/goals milestones etc., for the 2019/20 season.

However, as you will no doubt appreciate, all our attention for now is focussed on ensuring our members and supporters stay safe until the time is right for us to reconvene.

To this end please continue to follow the Government's advice, look after yourselves and let's see you all again in pre-season!
