AFC Hatch End

About the club
AFC Hatch End was founded in 2014 by three friends with the aim of providing organised football matches and training sessions in a competitive yet relaxed atmosphere. As a member of the Harrow Sunday Challenge League, AFC Hatch End participates in one of the largest Sunday leagues in north west London, with nearly 40 teams across four divisions. Alongside a busy league fixture list, AFC Hatch End is entered into a number of cup competitions each season, including the Middlesex County Cup. The club is led by the Club Committee. AFC Hatch End are proud of its successes. On the field highlights include a promotion winning season in 2015/2016 as well as being crowned London and Kent Charity Cup Champions in September 2016. Later that year, the club were invited to take part in the filming of BT Sports ‘Football Tonight’. In 2015 the club secured sponsorship from ‘Beast Worldwide’, a clothing company owned and run by musician and YouTube celebrity, KSI. The Committee have constantly striven to progress and develop the club and have been successful in gaining several FA Grants since the club’s creation totalling over £2000; the last being the FA Rectory Park Fund in early 2019. AFC Hatch End finished the 2018-2019 season 3rd in the Harrow Sunday Challenge League 2nd Division and were finalists in the Kane Cup. For the 2019/2020 season, the club will play home games at LPOSSA FC, and weekly training sessions will continue to be held at state of the art facilities at Harrow School. The Committee are driven to continue to grow AFC Hatch End as a footballing centre of excellence within the local community and have development plans in place. The first step was to achieve the FA Adult Chartered Standard Award which we were awarded in June 2019. The Committee will now focus on the creation of new teams, securing a new and long-lasting relationship with a sponsor, and, creating links with a charity. Up the Hatchets!
